Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of EduBbey (“the Service”), operated by EduBbey (“we”, “us”). By creating an account you agree to these Terms on behalf of yourself and, if applicable, the school or organisation you represent.

1. The Service

EduBbey is a multi-tenant learning management system. Each school (“Tenant”) operates within an isolated workspace. The primary contact who signs a school up (“School Administrator”) is responsible for managing users, content, and billing for that Tenant.

2. Your account

• You must provide accurate information and keep your credentials secure.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorised access.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Upload content that is illegal, abusive, or infringes third-party rights.
• Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Service without authorisation.
• Attempt to access another Tenant's data.
• Resell or sub-license the Service without our written permission.

4. Payment & subscriptions

• Trial accounts are free for the stated period. After that, the plan you selected becomes chargeable.
• Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date.
• Refunds are handled case-by-case — contact support@edubbey.com within 14 days of a charge.
• On downgrade, changes take effect at the end of your current billing period; we do not refund the unused portion of the higher plan unless the downgrade is due to a fault on our side.

5. Content & data ownership

You retain ownership of all content your school uploads. You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide licence to process that content solely to provide the Service (storing it, displaying it to users in your Tenant, running AI features at your request).

We will never sell your data or use it to train third-party models outside of vendor-level anonymised telemetry.

6. AI features

AI-generated content (lesson plans, quizzes, essay feedback) is produced by third-party models and may contain errors or omissions. Review and moderate AI output before showing it to students. You remain responsible for the accuracy of content you publish through the Service.

7. Termination

You may cancel at any time from your dashboard. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms, with notice where reasonably practical. On termination, you may request a data export under our Privacy Policy.

8. Liability

The Service is provided “as is”. To the maximum extent allowed by law, our aggregate liability is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim arose. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, including loss of data, revenue, or goodwill.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email and displayed in-app; continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
